What is Luon?

Luon is the signature fabric for lululemon's performance clothing. Apparel made from it has the following beneficial features:

• 86% nylon and 14% Lycra
• wicking and quick dry
• comfortable, matte finish and feels like cotton
• wetDRYwarm
• pre-shrunk

It does require some special care to keep it in the best condition.  For best results, follow these guidlines:

• Do not wash with other cotton garments or towels. Doing so will result in your lululemon item pilling.
• Wash in cold water, and hang to dry. This will allow the lycra to last longer.
• Wash your luon gament with other polyester fabrics.
